Bunk Bed

We’ve been talking about getting a bunk bed for some time. Well we finally purchased one off of Craig’s List.  We have no announcements.  Baby three is not on the way, but we wanted to get the boys in the same room.  In part to make way for another Lauer, but mostly to get Harrison off the floor.  You see, he didn’t like his crib any more, even though we’d taken the side off so it was like a day bed.  He would rather sleep on the floor, which he did several times.  When he wasn’t sleeping on the floor, he wanted to sleep in Isaiah’s bed, which he also did several times.  So, in the end, a bunk bed seemed like a good idea (I’ll let Meredith tell you about the woes we’ve had with this one).  We brought it home at about 6pm on Sunday night, and of course it had to be set up that night.  By the time we got the old bed taken apart, the dresser moved out, the room cleaned, the new bunk bed cleaned, new casters put on the bottom bunk, and the whole thing put together, it was 11pm.  Naturally, Isaiah, being the oldest, would have the top and Harrison would have the bottom.  So here we are at 11pm, excited to finally put the kids to bed and Harrison is throwing an absolute fit because he wants to top bunk.  I’m so glad we got a bunk bed… ;)
