The Bucket List (****)

Let’s just say that any movie that can make you laugh and cry at the same time is most certainly a good one.  The Bucket List is one of my favorite movies of all time.  I could watch it again and again….and probably laugh just as much and cry just as much.  Every trailer I’ve ever seen for this movie made me think it was a hillarious roll on the floor comedy, and while it does have those parts, there is a much deeper emotion envoked by this movie.  Without giving away all the finest details and plot turns, the long and the short of it is that we should all have A Bucket List.  That list of things you want to do before YOU kick the bucket.  Put anything you want on your list – big, small, and everything in between.  Life passes like smoke through a keyhole - make your list today.  Tell everyone around you everything you think.  Say what you need to say.  Let this movie unlock those parts of your spirit that have been dumped on by day to day insanity so you can truly recognize the beauty of everything we have been given in our lives.  Enjoy the movie….enjoy your life….the best is yet to come.  :)

I don’t know why anyone would want to do anything that makes them cry “again and again.” That said, I enjoyed the movie, too, but I won’t be watching it again. Two out of the last 3 movies I watched… ehem… made my eyes juicy. I need less drama and more eye-popping special effects.
