The New Bathroom

So I just have to give a shout out to Mike for all the efforts he went through while I was gone.  I had received a few notes from him during the week, telling me how tired he was and how exhausted he was.  Part of me wanted to say….sheesh…..you’re preaching to the choir!  However, when I got home, I find out exactly why he was so tired!  In addition to working, shuttling the boys to Oshkosh for child care, back to Neenah for swimming lessons, making food, being a great dad, etc. etc…..he also found some time to REMODEL THE BATHROOM!  What?!?  AMAZING! I can’t find time to scrapbook, and he found time to take on a remodeling project!  I was floored to say the least.  He took down the wallpaper border, repainted, installed a new countertop and sink, found an awesome new mirror, and a killer piece of artwork that you can sort of see in the reflection of the mirror.  I was SOOO impressed.  He’s my hero, and I’m thrilled that he’s my husband!  I’m such a lucky girl.  Now….who’s up for a girls getaway??  I could use a deck and a hot tub outside.  ha, ha….
